Special Deliveries…Love them, Good eats…Love them. Especially if they are a special delivery with good eats in them! Also love having a good time. Here are a few of all the above.

I recently subscribed to a Vegan Monthly Delivery Box called Conscious Box. Here’s their Mission.

The Mission of Conscious Box

Conscious Box is dedicated to introducing you to the most ethical, sustainable, and honest businesses that create the purest products available. We scour the marketplace to find those that stand above the rest. Discovery defines the Conscious Box experience.

I was so excited when the box arrived I could not wait to share it with you. Look at all these goodies…While I am not Vegan, or even vegetarian, I am currently working on how I live my life and choices I make. I realize that you have to start somewhere.

This box was loaded with great items. Teas, coffee, chocolate, snacks, and hb&a items. It was nicely packaged and the quality and quantity was amazing.

Sharing time… I made a really great crab sandwich the other day. Delicious.

Seriously, it was delicious. I added a side of roasted broccoli, but this sandwich could have stood alone on the plate.

One of my favorite lunches lately has been a ham and egg salad. I have been finding fresh spinach and sprouts at the farmers market along with some cucumbers and avocados and just mixing it all together and enjoying.

Recently I won a giveaway on Erin Berries Blog for Rebootizer. I have started it and cannot wait to do a quick review on it once I have completed the detox plan.

My amazing friends at Chobani sent me a 6 pack of their 16 ounce blended flavors. Okay here’s where the gushing comes in. I love this company, they are amazing friends to us bloggers, and on top of that their products are GREAT. I absolutely am in love with the Vanilla Chocolate Chunk.

I did share approximately 2 teaspoons with my husband, I felt like in order to do an honest review I had to eat the rest! Then I started in on the Mango. I really love the blended flavors. I have always been a huge fan of Chobani’s fruit on the bottom Pineapple flavor, but now feel like I should alternate my Chobani love to the blended yogurt as well. I am planning a few post with some of the ways I enjoyed the Chobani yogurt other than straight out of the container. What can I say, I  sometimes can’t help myself. Once it hits your lipsit’s so good! (Old School Movie Reference). Sorry.

I have been on a roll with blog giveaways lately and hit it BIG with the next two prizes. First up I won a $50.00 gift card to Lululemon. One of my favorite bloggers Calee from Life + Running was hosting this giveaway, and I could not have been happier when she notified my that I had won. I am so looking forward to spending that gift card. When Lululemon sent me the gift card they also sent me a reusable bag that I think I will use as my lunch bag and a change purse. Loving them lots right now.

My next big prize was from Rachael at Passing Daisies. I have been reading Rachael’s blog for a long time and love her dedication to honest blogging.  She really has well written posts with some great recipes. So back to the prize, I won these Zaggora HotPants. I was really pumped about these HotPants and put them to the test and loved them. Here’s some information on them taken directly from their webpage.

HotPants increase energy expenditure during exercise by 6% versus the control garment. HotPants increase energy expenditure in the hour after exercise by 26%*.

In 30 minutes of exercise, weight loss is around 4x greater in HotPants than in a standard garment. On average, subjects lost 1.13% of body mass in HotPants compared to 0.27% in the control garment.

HotPants increase the core body temperature by an average of 18% more than the control garment, which leads to an increase in metabolism.

I ordered the Orange, because it’s so HOT right now. Nah, I just love Orange. How cute are they? I can tell you this from just wearing them once, I sure did sweat more doing the same workout I normally do. So I will have to keep you posted on them. They have a Take the Challenge for new users of the HotPants. So me loving a challenge is all in. What they expect is just this: Wear the pants a few times a week during exercise and share your results! Easy. Like I said I am all in. So I will share my experience here with you once I have completed said challenge. Orange HotPants are so hot right now! Just saying.

Now on to a few of the good times I was talking about earlier. Hit a Tigers game with my husband over the Labor Day week-end. Even though we lost and it was 86 degrees, we still had a great time. I love going Downtown Detroit, the city is always so much fun. We had a few beers, had some hot dogs and some frozen lemon aid. It was a fun afternoon ball game.

Photo: Hot day at comerica

We also spent time with our friends having a few beers at a backyard birthday party. I do love beer. Another reason I am happy I won the Rebootizer, I could use a detox plan after indulging on so many festive foods and drinks this summer. It really has been the summer of fun.

I threw in this picture. I love this picture. It was taken on a houseboat trip I took in August. There was 30 people on this trip and all us girls got together and all piled on a floating island with our drinks and took tons of pictures, this picture happens to be my favorite. So much fun. Girl Power.

I included this picture because it’s pretty and I love water lilies.

Killian and Stuart say Hi! See my Orange stripped sweater with the Orange tissue tee, told ya I am loving Orange right now.

How cute are my fur babies? They look freaked out in this picture, but man I just love their little faces. They make my heart go Pitter Patter.

Just can’t get enough of Your Love Baby. A while back I made my first batch of Amaze-Balls, check them out here. I am a bit obsessed. So easy to make and such a great healthy option.

Craving chocolate and cookies what do you do? You Make Amaze-Balls 2 Ways. Amaze-Balls to the rescue.

First I made Nutella Amaze-Balls.

  • 3/4 Cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Agave Nectar
  • 2 Tablespoons Nutella
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  1. Pour oats into food processor and pulse until they become a flour.
  2. Add protein powder and, pulse to combine thoroughly.
  3. Mix in agave, Nutella and vanilla — you can do this by hand if your machine can’t handle it. Pulse a few times and watch your machine. If it seems to be too much, pull dough out and mix by hand.
  4. Roll into tablespoon-sized balls.
  5. Refrigerate. Eat and Enjoy.

Then I made Vanilla Chia Seed Amaze-Balls.

  • 3/4 Cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Agave Nectar
  • 2 Tablespoons Almond Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Chia Seeds
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  1. Pour oats into food processor and pulse until they become a flour.
  2. Add protein powder, and pulse to combine thoroughly.
  3. Stir and incorporate 1 Teaspoon of Chia Seeds, then
  4. Mix in agave, Almond butter and vanilla — you can do this by hand if your machine can’t handle it. Pulse a few times and watch your machine. If it seems to be too much, pull dough out and mix by hand.
  5. Roll into tablespoon-sized balls.
  6. Refrigerate. Eat and Enjoy.

Then I made dinner. Isn’t that how everyone does it? So in order to make a quick dinner I grabbed a few ingredient from the fridge, I sort of had an idea of what I wanted to make. I just added this and that based on what I had on hand.

I scrambled some egg whites, toasted an English muffin, sliced a piece of Pastrami Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon and grabbed my avocado and a slice of shape white cheddar cheese and assembled.

I smashed the avocado on one side of the muffin, then just piled on the rest of the ingredients.

End result was this flavorful English muffin sandwich. The sharp cheddar and the salmon really worked well together and the avocado did what it does best and added a smooth mellow creamy texture to each bite. Man, I loved every single bite of this sandwich. Perfection.

Then I ate a few more Amaze-Balls.

Here’s how it works…

Here’s how you can order the boxes….. Can you believe the value in the boxes.

Look at the August Box….Over $100.00 worth of Healthy Items all for $18.00.

Awesome Right?

So when I received my box here is what I did,

I ripped it open and checked out all my goodies. I love getting healthy foods and products in the mail.

Here’s what I grabbed right away and began thinking what I wanted to eat this with. When I order sushi, I love it when there is a Seaweed Salad served with it. So I wanted to see if this would be comparable.

Kurakon Japanese Delight Seaweed Salad on the go. Yummy and healthy. Such a fun food item. I loved the texture and it was so easy to prepare. I can see me grabbing these for a road trip or a long flight, or just a fun sushi dinner at home. I checked out the website and plan on ordering a case to have these little cups on hand. LOVED IT!

Alo Awaken Aloe Vera. The following information is taken from their website: This beverage is aloe vera and wheatgrass is made with real wheatgrass extract (5 percent). It is packed with vitamins (especially vitamin K), minerals, chlorophyll, and enzymes. Alo line of Aloe Vera infused drinks is the leading RTD Aloe Vera drink in the US. Our drinks are made from only the best, all natural ingredients. We never use artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Nor do we add gellan gum, xantham gum, thickeners, or emulsifiers, as some others do. Our proprietary manufacturing process yields larger chunks of real aloe pulp than any other Aloe Vera drink in the market. And we have totally unique blends like none other.
I gave this one a try and I have to admit I was a bit scared that I would not like it. After a few sips I realized that I didn’t mind the flavor or the texture at all. I had read mixed reviews on it, but I found myself liking it more and more as I drank it. I can see how some folks would be hesitant to try it due to the texture.

GoNola granola. I love granola, always have, always will. GoNola packages there granola with the person on the go in mind. I like that, I’m always looking for foods that travel well and are also a healthy option. Looks like I found a winner.  GoNola is a tasty and satisfying snack that’s higher in nutritional value and lower in calories, fat and sugar. Here’s some easy ways to get more GoNola in your life.

How can you eat GoNola?

  • As a topping for Ice cream, yogurt, yogurt parfait, cereal, or applesauce
  • As an on-the-go snack
  • For your kids’ lunchboxes
  • As a team treat after soccer practice
  • With a hot cup of coffee to start your day
  • To sprinkle in as an ingredient in cookie dough, pancake mix, or pie crust
  • Any way you want!

Honest review, I loved the taste, the crunchy and found it to be flavorful and light.

I was worried that the my hair would be to heavy for the Twistband, but I was wrong, my hair was tied up as tight and secure as it would be with a standard hair tie. When the Twistband is not making my hair pretty, it’s on my wrist. I love the Twistband, its cute and functional.

BioPharma Superfood. Looking forward to trying this, after reading up on the product. Here’s some information directly from the website.

NanoGreens10® Vegetable and Fruit SuperFood

Hurry up and eat your greens, they put hair on your chest!  WHAT?!  No Adult or child wants to be forced to eat something their taste buds simply don’t like.  NanoGreens10® is the answer to that problem. Like all of our Nano products, NanoGreens10® is great for adults and child consumption and it gives everyone the antioxidants that you would find by eating 10 servings of organic vegetables and fruits. NanoGreens10® is an antioxidant-filled greens superfood supplement in powder form that is not only nutritious but tastes DELICIOUS!

I liked how easy it was to take these supplements. I was not sure what to expect with them being in powder form as far as flavor went, but it was nice. It was also a good way of upping my daily water intake. Win/Win.

PopCorners. I am a huge fan of PopCorners, they are delicious and crispy. I have had them before and was glad to see a familiar item in the KLUTCHclub box. I tore open the bag and enjoyed those Yummy Sea Salt PopCorners Snack. I love this All Natural snack. I do need to try a few more flavors to say I’ve tried them all, but I am getting close.

Tieks, oh how I want you, your shoes are amazing, cute and look comfortable, but even with the $50.00 credit your shoes are just too expensive for me. Tieks shoe prices start at $165.00 and go up to $295.00. I just can not justify spending that kind of money on shoes, but if you are a shoe person with a large budget, I have a feeling you will really love these shoes, they really are beautiful and very stylish.

i BodyFit. This is such a great membership. Having access to all the different types of training is great. I Love this, I will use this membership on a daily and a weekly basis for my weights, yoga and some other workouts I have yet to try.

GoSportID. They included a $10.00 gift card towards any purchase. I went to the site and found many options I would choose. GoSportID is a from of identification that runners, cyclists and anyone outdoor enthusiasts can wear in case of an emergency. Great idea. I will be looking into what I want to order, I like the idea of the tennis shoe ID clip.

Hope you enjoyed my review of the KLUTCHclub box, I had fun reviewing the items and really enjoyed all the items in the box.

Here are a few more reviews on the KLUTCHclub box from a few other Major Websites:
